As a result, iFix Business Solutions, a 100% black owned consulting firm founded in 2013 with a level 1 BEE status, specialising in Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Analysis (BA) was developed with the aim to provide strategic business solutions for clients in the public and private sectors.
At iFix Business Solutions, we pride ourselves on offering tailored services that improve business operations and processes. Throughout the years, the company has been involved in the implementation of financial management systems and some of the work produced includes, project management, systems support, accounting support and producing management reports up to annual financial statements.
“We realised there was a gap in the market for business intelligence tools as clients often do not have systems that do everything and allow them to achieve their desired objectives,” says our Chief Solutions Architect. “With BI, we have the expertise and resources to build consolidated reports, management packs and dashboards that draw data from various systems and transform into useful and reliable real-time information.”
Our product and service offering includes advisory services, revenue enhancement, business intelligence, compiling GRAP compliant asset register, training, MunBI (a Business Intelligence & Reporting application for Municipalities) and ConsBI (a Business Intelligence & Reporting application for the Construction industry), as well as custom made reports and or tools for reconciliations and ease of monitoring, review and analysis.
It is key for iFix Business Solutions to enable business decision makers to get real time, accurate and reliable information from their data that speaks to their needs, objectives and exceptions in a summarised and presentable format, but still has the ability to drill down and view the data in different dimensions to satisfy different stakeholders (both internal and external).
“Our key successes include training, implementing a reporting system that consolidates reporting at group level using different currencies, from different countries at Inyatsi Construction Group. We also played a pivotal role in the rollout of Municipal Standard Chart of Accounts reform by National Treasury to local government and there’s plenty of opportunity for growth within the public sector, especially with educating local government on the benefits of BI.”
The iFix Business Solutions team boasts members that are experts in their respective fields, with experience in implementing, supporting and reporting on financial management systems for over 15yrs.
Our Chief Information officer shares that within the private sector space there is an appreciation of Business Intelligence and all it entails, clients want dashboards, reports on the go and consolidated reports at group levels.
